It is important to protect yourself when doing any kind of paranormal investigation. As in life not all spirits/ghosts will be friendly. Negative energy will be experience at some point if undergoing paranormal investigations, usually just by feeling uncomfortable or scared for no reason. There is nothing to worry about as long as you always use and believe in spiritual protection.

There are a number of ways to protect yourself and here are a few ideas for your protection.

 

White light protection

Sit  quietly for a few moments, close your eyes, relax and become aware of your breath, breathing in slowly hold, then exhaling.

Now imagine a bright white light above your head, watch it as it comes down around you, surrounding your whole body like a warm blanket. You know and feel this white light will protect you, is protecting you and will keep you safe. Slowly say to yourself "I am protected and safe, nothing or no one can harm me. No negative energy of any kind can get through to me". Ask your God/Goddess of what ever your faith to keep you safe and protected.

 

Mirror Cube of protection

Sit  quietly for a few moments, close your eyes, relax and become aware of your breath, breathing in slowly hold, then exhaling.

Now imagine a cube which is mirrored on the outside, step into the cube and close the lid. You are able to see out and are now protected. Say to yourself "I am safe and protected, nothing  or no one can harm me. No negative energy of any kind can get through to me, any negative will be reflected away from my protective cube", Ask your God/Goddess of what ever your faith to keep you safe and protected.

 

Protection prayer which can be used with any of the above

I am sealed from all imperfect energies. I am protected by my (God/Goddess of your faith) and my spiritual guides. Any spirits I encounter will remain confined to this place. I am protected by the divine light and love of my (god/goddess) and spiritual guide as I investigate (name of the location)

 

Prayer 2

The light of (God/Goddess) surrounds me. The love of my (God/Goddess) enfolds me. The power of my (God/Goddess) protects me and the presence of my (God/Goddess) watches over me.

 

Prayer 3

I call upon my goddess, lady of the moon, for your protection, love and help. I place myself in your protection, surrounded by your love, knowing that in your hands I remain safe and secure.

 

Ring of protection

In thy name of all that is Goodness and light, we ask you to surround our circle with your white light of love and protection. We ask that no harm befalls on this our protected circle or on those among us. In the name of love, goodness and light we thank thee for your protection.
