Well that is a big question as nothing has been proven as to whether any Orbs really are that of a Spirit/Ghosts.

There is a big debate amongst the paranormal investigators regarding orbs.  Many believe them to be nothing more than dust or moisture, whilst others believe them to be that of spirit energy. 

Whilst we would all like to believe we have captured a ghost or spirit, it is important to be realistic and look for alternative explanations.

Most Orbs are just dust or moisture, but there are those which are questionable.

If you scuff your feet or jump up and down on a spot, dust will fill the air like little soap bubbles.

When there is any moisture in the air, often near water or when it’s been raining and the sun is absorbing moisture from the ground, stone etc. evaporation takes place.  You can even get moisture on the lens of your camera.

The flash light on camera can bounce back from a shiny object, like a door knob, crystal or window.

But can we be really certain that some of these Orbs aren’t Spirit?

Orbs are still believed by many to be the soul/spirit of a person who has left their material body and passed to the Spirit world.

There is still a strong belief among many that orbs are ghosts/spirits in the form of a light, often travelling in groups and having a willingness to remain on Earth.

A belief that they are spirits often bound to their previous location for some reason, remaining on Earth due to the sudden passing from death as in the case of a murder, suicide, accident, or loss of a loved one.

Maybe these Orbs are really spirit spheres trying to make peace within their location so they can move on.  Who really knows?

But if Orbs really are spirit, then it isn’t really surprising that they are often sphere/round in shape, when you look at things the things represent life.

We use circles to represent eternal life, with no beginning and no ending. Our blood cells are sphere shape, soap bubbles are sphere shape, birds build their nests in circles, even the rain droplets are sphere shaped.

Most photo's taken by us are dismissed as dust or moisture, unless a member or members of the group, have seen or felt spirit presence.

We do not however treat 'orbs' photos as paranormal proof.

 

Here are some photo's our group has taken.  Obviously we cannot be certain they are in fact  'spirit orb's', who really knows?  We leave that decision to you!

 

                        

 The above photos was taken at Reculver Towers, where Jackie 'saw' a monk.  Jackie is not a believer in orbs being spirit so doesn't class this as being any proof.

 

 

The above photo was taken by Paul at Arundel Town Hall.  While there didn't seem much paranormal energy in the room, this is still an interesting photo.  Paul is not a believer that orbs are paranormal.

 

                 

These were taken by Donna.  The first photo shows quite a large 'orb' which seems to have a face in it. (The white strips, are pieces of wood, that have been suspended from the ceiling to hold posters)  The second a blue/white bright orb.  We are not saying these are spirit or paranormal, they are for you to make your own mind up.  Donna however is a believer in orbs being spirit.

 

The above photo was taken by Rose in Chislehurst Caves,  if you look closely you can see a face in the orb, but is this really paranormal or just a dust/moisture particle?

 

                    

This was taken by Donna at Pevensey Church.  The 'orb' is at the top in photo one and blown up in photo 3.  If you look carefully you can see a face in it.  But is this really a  paranormal orb? There decision is yours.

          

           

   

The above four photos were taken by Jackie.  They were taken one after the other within a few minutes.  The smoke seems to build up and an orb appears then its all back to normal within minutes.

This next photo was taken by Donna during the same few minutes Jackie's was taking the four above, interestingly there is an orb in a different spot above the gates but is the 'orb' paranormal, probably not.  The mist however is strange as there was no signs or smoke or bonfires during the evening and no one smoking these were taken?

 

  

The first photo was taken by Donna in Canterbury, there were no lights near this part of the grave yard but is this a paranormal orb?  Unfortunately probably not.

 

The above photo was taken by Steve at Canterbury, there is an orb to the left of the picture.  The light on the right is street lighting?  But is this paranormal?  Probably not.

 

     

The above photos were taken at Canewden Church by Jackie, where she 'saw' the spirit of a young man so decided to take some photos.  As you can see the orb moves in each picture.  However, not being a true believer in orbs being paranormal she feels it is just dust. 

 

            

These were taken by Jackie and Donna around the same time, while on our 2nd visit to  Canewden. Strangely they were captured in the exact spot as our last visit.  There has been a number of reports that the ghost/spirit of a lady has been seen walking down the path behind the gate, to the gate.  As you can see the orb has moved between photos.  They were taken on different cameras and the second has had to be lightened slightly.  However, is it really the lady or just a dust/moisture particle.

 

         

The above photos were taken by Jackie.  They were taken within seconds of each other.  The first shows one large bright 'orb' and another fainter one slightly lower to the left.  Again is this paranormal? probably not.        

 

     

The above photos were taken by Kevin at Pluckley.  Is this paranormal? again probably just dust or moisture.
